Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Snack Dash is a mobile game published by the Snack Dash developer team. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@snackgame.game.

2. Information the app stores

The app keeps a small amount of data locally on your device so the game works between sessions:

• Unlocked levels, stars and best scores
• Your preferences: sound, music, haptics, tips and reduced motion

This data is written to your device's local app storage (AsyncStorage) under the keys snackdash.progress.v1 and snackdash.settings.v1. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.

3. Information we do not collect

• No name, email address, phone number or account of any kind
• No precise or approximate location
• No contacts, photos, calendar or file access
• No usage analytics, crash reports or behavioural tracking of our own
• No microphone recordings — the app plays sound but does not record audio

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Snack Dash includes the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK so the game can be offered free. AdMob may collect and process limited information to deliver ads and measure their performance, such as a device advertising identifier, IP address and coarse (city-level) location inferred from it, and general device and app information. We request non-personalised ads only: the app does not use the advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and it does not present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not perform that kind of tracking.

Google processes this data as our advertising provider. You can read how Google handles it in the Google Privacy & Terms and the Google Business Data Responsibility pages. You can limit ad-related identifiers at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising).

We do not sell personal information, and we do not receive the information AdMob collects about you in an identifiable form.

5. Internet access

The game itself can be played offline and your progress never leaves your device. A network connection is used only to request ads; when there is no connection, the game still plays and simply shows no ad.

6. Children's privacy

Snack Dash is suitable for all ages and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not ask for any personal information and does not create accounts. Because all ads are requested in non-personalised mode, we do not use children's data to build advertising profiles or to track them across apps. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data retention and deletion

All gameplay data lives on your device only. It is kept until you delete it. You can remove it at any time by either:

• Using the reset progress option in the app's Settings screen, or
• Deleting the app from your device — this removes the local save data with it

8. Security

We operate no servers and keep no database of your data. Local game data is protected by the sandbox and security features of your device's operating system. The only network traffic the app generates is encrypted ad requests handled by Google AdMob.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or the law. The latest version will always be published on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in the app.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to export or erase on our side; any deletion you need is done on your own device as described in section 7. You are welcome to contact us anyway and we will answer any request.
